Benefit Take Up Project
Visibility Scotland is working in partnership with VisionPK and seescape to raise awareness of the benefits that have been devolved to Scotland and are available from Social Security Scotland. This work has been funded by the Scottish Government as part of their Benefit Take-up Strategy.
Social Security Scotland benefits
A number of benefits available from the Department of Work and Pensions (DWP) have been devolved and will be delivered by Social Security Scotland going forward, along with a number of brand new benefits.
These benefits will be introduced in stages. Some of these benefits are available now whilst others, including Disability Payments and Carer’s Assistance, will be available in the future.
