Aqeel feels both proud and lucky to be the Chairperson of such a fantastic organisation having joined the Board in April 2024.

He is passionate about ensuring Visibility Scotland continues to support people in new and innovative ways to live a happy and fulfilling life. Aqeel works in the Children’s Rights Unit at the Scottish Government.

He is also the Co-Chair of the West of Scotland Development Education Council (WOSDEC), a charity which promotes and supports global citizenship in Scottish Education. Aqeel is a keen cyclist and baker, and enjoys travelling and playing with his pet cat, Milo.
