August is the newest member of Visibility Scotland’s management team, coming into post in June 2025. She leads on the organisation’s marketing, including website content, social media, and awareness campaigns. She also manages the administration team, who are the friendly faces and voices most people meet when first visiting Visibility Scotland.

August began her career working in psychology before coming to Glasgow to study a postgraduate degree in Global Health. She is passionate about human rights and accessibility for all. In her free time, she enjoys long walks outside (except for when there are bugs), reading thrillers, and trying new restaurants.
