Emma is the Head of Operations at Visibility Scotland, responsible for the day-to-day running of our services. This includes the Patient Support Services based in NHS clinics, community-based services in Glasgow and Dumfries and our services for children, young people and their families.

Emma started her career in the early 2000s, working for large corporate companies in Edinburgh and London before joining a Scottish disability charity in 2016. There she learned about the value of lived-experience in shaping service delivery and the significant impact that charities make to their service users. She found it hugely rewarding, before spotting an opportunity to join the team at Visibility Scotland. That was in June 2022 and she’s never looked back.

No two days are the same at Visibility Scotland, so by the end of the week, Emma can usually be found winding down by spending time with family and friends.
