Emma is the Head of Operations at Visibility Scotland and is responsible for the day-to-day running of our services. This includes the Patient Support Services based in NHS clinics, community-based services in Glasgow and Dumfries and our services for children, young people and their families.

 

Emma started her career in the early 2000s, working for large corporate companies in Edinburgh and London before joining a Scottish disability charity in 2016. There she learned about the value of lived experience in shaping service delivery and the positive impact charities have on their service users. She found working in the sector hugely rewarding. Emma spotted an opportunity to join the team at Visibility Scotland in June 2022, and she’s never looked back.

 

No two days are the same at Visibility Scotland. So by the end of another busy week, Emma can usually be found winding down by spending time with family and friends.
