Phil joined the Board in November 2024, having previously worked with Visibility Scotland through a Knowledge Transfer partnership with the University of Strathclyde.

He is a Medical Engineer with expertise in rehabilitation and an Emeritus Professor in the University of Strathclyde’s Biomedical Engineering Department.

Phil is passionate about ensuring Visibility Scotland develops accessible technology that enables users to live happy, fulfilling lives and generates commercial benefit from these innovations to support its service users.

He is now retired and enjoys travelling in his motorhome, playing with his two dogs, and swimming.
