August Wright, Digital and Analytics Support
August has recently transitioned into a new role at Visibility Scotland as Digital and Analytics Support. She shares what her journey has been like so far.
Stepping in to a new role
Hi, I’m August! If you’ve been in to our main office or called Visibility Scotland in the past few months, you may have met me. I recently transitioned into a new role as Digital and Analytics Support for the organisation. This new position is exciting, challenging, and very busy! I have taken over Visibility Scotland’s social media, and have also been supporting quite a bit with our reporting.
In my new role I’m looking forward to developing our digital presence further, including Instagram and TikTok. My goal is to make Visibility Scotland’s social media a place where people can learn, be empowered, and get a sense of who we are and what we provide. I want to involve staff and service users, and always aim to create content that is informative, engaging, and accessible.
As a bit about me outside work, I love reading, hiking, and most recently have discovered a love of paint by numbers. Originally from Wisconsin, I moved to Glasgow in 2022 to pursue an MSc in Global Health at the University of Glasgow. After graduating I found Visibility Scotland, and the rest is history! I really enjoy meeting new people and hearing the stories of our service users, if you stop by Queen’s Crescent please come say hello!
