Neuro Specialist

Are you a professional working in the field of stroke? If you are an Occupational Therapist, Nurse, Orthoptist or Case Manager, we want to hear from you.

Working at a local and national level, Visibility Scotland aims to affect positive change and improve outcomes for visually impaired people of all ages. We want to empower and encourage children and adults to focus on what they can do, not what they cannot.

To apply for this exciting full-time post, you must be passionate, creative, inspiring and able to work under your own initiative, and you must have work experience in the field of stroke.

The successful candidate will deliver our unique and innovative neuro programme, which includes a self-management programme and one-to-one rehabilitation for NHS GGC patients experiencing stroke-related visual change. The post holder will also undertake consultancy work, providing ligation reports; Past, Present and Future Needs.

This is an exciting, multi-faceted role with a motivated and ambitious organisation. You will have experience working in a health or social care setting. You will have knowledge of neurological visual impairment or have a keen desire to learn.

You will be a skilled report writer and be confident in your assessment skills. Team spirit is a must.
