Parents and carers information webinar

Our Children, Young People and Families Team are hosting an information webinar dedicated to parents and carers of children and young people with visual impairments:

Date: Tuesday 20 September, 2022

Time: 6pm

The webinar will take place via Zoom and is expected to last 90 minutes.

There will be a talk from our in-house Habilitation / Rehabilitation specialists who will share handy hints and tips to promote independence, including daily living skills and info on digital devices. We will also welcome Joanne McGinlay from Carers of West Dunbartonshire who will talk about how your local carers centre can support you. Joanne will also discuss eligibility for benefits and entitlements.

After the presentations, there will be an opportunity to ask questions. The Children, Young People and Families team will be on hand to discuss our services and the support Visibility Scotland can offer.
