Do you want to learn more about why our streets are being designed the way they are?
Visibility Scotland, South West Scotland Cycle Training and Glasgow City Council have worked collaboratively to design and roll out free, supportive training and guidance regarding proposed or recently developed urban streetscapes. This training allows for an open and honest conversation about streetscape design delivered by visual impairment and cycling experts.

Training will be interactive and immersive, and the two-hour session will include:
- Awareness raising on disability with a particular emphasis on visual impairment and visually impaired or blind travellers
- Human Rights
- Accessible communication
- Street changes: what makes effective street design for people with visual impairment
- Training on the Highway Code and how the streetscape should be used by people cycling
- Awareness of The Highway Code with a focus on the hierarchy of responsibility
- Consideration of other road users
- An understanding of your responsibility for the safety of others
