Visibility Scotland 2024 highlights

The year in review

2024 was another busy and successful year for Visibility Scotland. We would like to share just some of our highlights with you:

 

Highlights

  • 3,024 supported people across all our services
  • 2,203 people were supported through our Patient Support Services
  • 383 people received a wellbeing or information call
  • 218 had assistive technology demonstrated to them at our digital suite
  • 116 working-age people with vision impairment had help from our Digital Advisor to access assistive technology to help them with education or employment
  • 122 people were supported through our community services
  • 83 children with vision impairment attended one of our children, young people and families events
  • 34 people attended one of our guest webinars on sleep action, sport, emotional support and knowing your rights
  • 28 parents and carers received support through our Family Advocacy or Talking Tuesday services

A huge thank you to all our staff, service users and supporters for making this such a positive year for us. We look forward to continuing to support people with vision impairment throughout Scotland in 2025 and beyond.
