Our weekly self-led group enjoys crafting, making and growing together. The group meets between 10 AM to 12.30 PM at our head office: 2 Queen’s Crescent, Glasgow G4 9BW.

 

Tuesday 03 February

Charged up café.

Our weekly café that runs between 10 AM and 1:30 PM every Tuesday at our head office: 2 Queen’s Crescent, Glasgow G4 9BW.

Come along and enjoy some free soup with bread and some tasty sweet treats. You can also charge up your electronic devices free of charge.  It’s a great way to meet and chat with other vision impaired people and find out more about our services.

Wednesday 04 February

EyeCan Cook

Take part in a hands-on cooking session led by Visibility Scotland experienced Vision Rehabilitation Specialists. This fun and inclusive workshop focuses on building practical cooking skills, exploring healthy eating, and enjoying the social side of preparing food together. Participants will have the chance to learn techniques to cook safely and independently, while engaging with others in a supportive environment. The perfect recipe for connection and creativity! Taking place at Visibility Scotland, 2 Queens Crescent, Glasgow, G4 9BW from 5:45 to 7:45 PM. Spots are limited so please register ahead of time.

Sensory play room open 

Visibility Scotland has launched a sensory play room for VI and blind children aged zero to six years. The room will be open for sensory play every second Friday at Visibility Scotland, 2 Queens Crescent, Glasgow, G4 9BW beginning on Friday 6th February 2026 from 10:30 AM onwards. Visiting the room is free of charge, though a small donation to our charity is always appreciated. It is a fun, welcoming space designed for children and families.

Space is limited, so please confirm your attendance no later than the Tuesday before each session by calling 0800 987 1087 or emailing families@nullvisibilityscotland.org.uk

Positive Outlook Course (held on Zoom)

A virtual Positive Outlook course delivered on Zoom. You can meet others new to sight loss can share experiences and tips with others. The course runs over two consecutive Mondays. The session is run by our Training and Information Specialist. The session runs from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM. Attendees can be dialed into to the Zoom meeting via their mobile phones.

Visibility Scotland is working with Freedom and Joy coaches to provide a series of group workshops. These sessions focus on socialising  for young people  aged 10 to 17 years with vision impairment. Aarti and Sharon are the Freedom and Joy Coaches . They lead conversations about the challenges young vision impaired people have with socialising. Each group provides an opportunity to identify solutions to these challenges in a fun, relaxed setting. These groups are supportive and offer a unique environment to forge friendships, build confidence and empower the group to share new experiences.
The sessions take place at Visibility Scotland’s headquarters at 2 Queen’s Crescent, Glasgow, G4 9BW from 6 PM to 7:30 PM.
