Glasgow Community Group.

Our weekly self-led group enjoys crafting, making and growing together. The group meets between 10 AM to 12.30 PM at our head office: 2 Queen’s Crescent, Glasgow G4 9BW.

 

Tuesday 02 June

Charged up café.

Our weekly café that runs between 10 AM and 1:30 PM every Tuesday at our head office: 2 Queen’s Crescent, Glasgow G4 9BW.

Come along and enjoy some free soup with bread and some tasty sweet treats. You can also charge up your electronic devices free of charge.  It’s a great way to meet and chat with other vision impaired people and find out more about our services.

Moffat lunch club (Dumfries and Galloway)

Our lunch clubs are a welcoming space to connect, share experiences and enjoy good company. The first in the series of Moffat Lunch Clubs will take place at the Green Frog, Moffat, DG10 9QL., from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM 
Whether you are newly diagnosed with a vision impairment for have been living with a vision impairment for some time, you are more than welcome to come along, enjoy a complementary lunch, and feel part of the community. Carers/support are welcome to join also.

West Lothian messy play

This session is for children aged five and under. The session will be delivered by our partners at Food Heroes who are two Specialist Dietitians. They will be ready to answer any queries about diet and health for your child. The session incorporates exploring food through play, to build positive relationships with food for children and families while learning and having fun together.

Positive Outlook Course (held on Zoom)

A virtual Positive Outlook course delivered on Zoom. You can meet others new to sight loss can share experiences and tips with others. The course runs over two consecutive Wednesdays. The session is run by our Training and Information Specialist. The session runs from 10:30 AM to 12:00 PM. Attendees can be dialed into to the Zoom meeting via their mobile phones.

Visibility Scotland has launched a sensory play room for VI and blind children aged zero to six years. The room will be open for sensory play every second Friday at Visibility Scotland, 2 Queens Crescent, Glasgow, G4 9BW beginning on Friday 6th February 2026 from 10:30 AM onwards. Visiting the room is free of charge, though a small donation to our charity is always appreciated. It is a fun, welcoming space designed for children and families.

Space is limited, so please confirm your attendance no later than the Tuesday before each session by calling 0800 987 1087 or emailing families@nullvisibilityscotland.org.uk
