Here’s what’s coming up in Visibility Scotland in May 2023:

3 May

  • Neurological sight loss self-management phone group. Support for those with neurological sight loss via phone-based group session. The group runs from 11 AM to 12 PM.
  • Neurological sight loss face-to-face group. Support for those with neurological sight loss via in-person session at 2 Queen’s Crescent, Glasgow G4 9BW. The group runs from 1 PM to 2 PM.
  • Home Energy Scotland webinar. Held on Zoom. learn tips and advice on saving energy and reducing your bills from our friends at Home Energy Scotland.

 

9 May

  • Charged Up café offering free vegan food and refreshments and the opportunity to meet with the Glasgow Community Team. In addition, you can take along your electrical devices to charge up for free. Pop along to our office at 2 Queen’s Crescent, Glasgow between 10 AM to 3 PM.

 

10 May

  • Rosshall Academy drop-in event. Drop-in session offered at Rosshall Academy by our children and families team.
  • Positive Outlook. Monthly group phone call session, offering advice, emotional support and information for those newly diagnosed with sight loss. The group runs from 2 PM to 3 PM.

 

16 May

  • Museum of Rural Life Family Day.  A fun day out at the Museum of Rural Life for children with visual impairment and their families. For ages 6 and over.
