What on in April 2023

Here are some of the exciting things we have coming up in April 2023:

1 April

• Little Explorers sensory session. Held at Forth Valley Sensory Centre for children aged 0-5 years. Come and explore some new food tastes, smells and textures at our messy play session.

3 April

• ‘drop your stitches’ knitting group held at 2 Queen’s Crescent, Glasgow from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm

4 April

• Charged Up café offering free vegan food and refreshments and the opportunity to meet with the Glasgow Community Team. In addition, you can take along your electrical devices to charge up for free. Pop along to our office at 2 Queen’s Crescent, Glasgow between 10am – 2:00pm
• Transformational coaching. Session held at 2 Queen’s Crescent, Glasgow between 4 – 7 PM

5 April

• Triple Tap Tech session for young people. Held at Renfield St. Stephen’s centre on Bath Street between 1-3 PM

6 April

• Positive Outlook (phone group)

10 April

• ‘drop your stitches’ knitting group held at 2 Queen’s Crescent, Glasgow from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm

11 April

• Tech road show held at Lockerbie Town Hall between 10 AM and 1 PM. Demonstration of digital magnification, OCR tech and smart devices to the VI community, with one-to-one advice and support for those bringing their own devices (smartphones and tablets)
• Transformational coaching from Freedom and Joy. Three sessions: 11 AM to 11:45 AM, 12 Pm to 12:45 PM, and 1PM to 1:45 PM. Held at our head office, 2 Queen’s Crescent, Glasgow, G4 9BW
• Charged Up café offering free vegan food and refreshments and the opportunity to meet with the Glasgow Community Team. In addition, you can take along your electrical devices to charge up for free. Pop along to our office at 2 Queen’s Crescent, Glasgow between 10am – 2:00pm

17 April

• Visual impairment awareness training. Held at the Cairndale Hotel in Dumfries. Sessions on sighted guiding (basic) and accessible tech

24 April

25 April
