The Role
We are seeking a dynamic Fundraising and Community Engagement Specialist. The ideal candidate will have expertise in delivering and selling professional training. Please note that applicants must have a cycling coaching qualification, and experience in designing and delivering inclusive active travel and road safety training programmes.
The post holder will be responsible for generating income, engaging supporters and partners, and delivering specialist walking and wheeling programmes that improve access and wellbeing for blind and vision-impaired people across Scotland.
The post holder will design and deliver targeted community safety training that increases understanding of vulnerable road users (people with visual impairments and blindness) and supports positive behaviour change.
The post holder will be accountable for securing funding to sustain and grow the specialist training offer and will ensure that Visibility Scotland’s bicycles and bike storage are safe, secure, and ready for use.

The role is offered on a fixed-term (until 31 May 2028 ), full-time basis (35 hours per week).
The role is hybrid with travel across Scotland as required for training. The primary office location is our Glasgow headquarters, 2 Queen’s Crescent, Glasgow, G4 9BW.
