Charged Up café

Enjoy some homemade nutritious food and good company in a safe and supportive community environment.

Charged Up café

Our weekly Charged Up café is open every Tuesday from 10AM to 3PM at our head office - 2 Queen's Crescent, Glasgow. Enjoy homemade nutritious food in a safe and supportive community environment.

All food and drinks served are provided free of charge. Each week we serve homemade soup, bread, and cake. Our kitchen is nut free.

Our Charged Up café aims to bring people together and foster new relationships whilst providing the opportunity to speak with a member of our team, who can answer vision related questions and provide human guiding.

Café attendance is always a mix of new visitors and long-time attendees. The number of visitors usually ranges from 15 to 26. Everyone with a vision impairment is welcome and will be supported. Family, friends, and carers are welcome too.

Our visitor information page is linked below. This gives transport, accessibility, and safety information for our premises. As part of the page, we’ve created a video guide of our main office. This gives an overview of the office layout, what to expect when you come in, and accessibility information.
