About the service

West Lothian Sight Loss Services provide a person-centred Habilitation (children) and Rehabilitation (adult) service. Our team can provide practical and emotional support, teaching visual strategies and essential skills to increase independence in the home, when out and about and in the workplace. Visibility Scotland’s training programmes are holistic, aiming to increase confidence and build resilience.

 

If you live in West Lothian and you experience daily challenges due to your sight, please contact us for more information. You can be referred to this service by the patient support team based at St. John’s Hospital in West Lothian, by another health professional or by self-referral.
